who is Miley Cyrus?
Miley Ray Cyrus is a 17 year old teen sensation, who was born on the 23rd November, 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her birth name is Destiny Hope, but in 2008 she legally changed her name to Miley after her dad had given her the nickname "Smiley." Miley is best known for her role in the popular Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana. In the series, she plays a girl called Miley Stewart who lives a double life as a popstar. Miley is also a singer/songwriter with many songs as herself and Hannah Montana topping the charts. More?
‘Supernatural star Misha Collins has joked that he wants Miley Cyrus to land a cameo in the show. The actor, who plays renegade angel Castiel, suggested that the Hannah Montana actress could be the perfect choice for the role of God if the character ever makes an appearance on screen. Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: “I have heard rumors that God will appear.
“I have no idea what form God would take, whether they would just do a booming voice or whether they would do something else. They could cast any number of odd characters for the role of God. I’m lobbying for Miley Cyrus!”
The unlikely trio, Miley Cyrus, Joaquin Poenix, and Liv Tyler have teamed up with the site TWLOHA.com (to Write Love On Her Arms) to help make a difference, to help stop suicide. What a great cause. Award season is almost upon us, and the celebrities are gearing up to walk the red carpet for award shows A-Z. Miley Cyrus is no exception, and despite just ending the long UK leg of her world tour she is still expected to show up for the People’s Choice Awards on January 6th. Miley is nominated in the “Favorite Web Celeb” category.

This just in! Sources close to Miley Cyrus tell J-14 that her new movie The Last Song, which was originally scheduled to come out in January 2010, is now being released in April 2010. Miley spent all summer on Tybee Island, Georgia filming the flick. (Remember, her and Nick Jonas were spotted jet skiing around the island!) And more recently, it’s been rumored that Miley’s been getting super-close to her Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth. Miley’s been showing the trailer for the movie during her Wonder World tour and just released the song and music video for “When I Look At You” from the movie.
