Miley Ray Cyrus is a 17 year old teen sensation, who was born on the 23rd November, 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her birth name is Destiny Hope, but in 2008 she legally changed her name to Miley after her dad had given her the nickname "Smiley." Miley is best known for her role in the popular Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana. In the series, she plays a girl called Miley Stewart who lives a double life as a popstar. The song from ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’, has sold over 2 million copies in the United States, and was one of 2009′s biggest hits. The movie was #1 in the box office and has grossed over $155 million worldwide. This is Cyrus’ third music video on the popular video sharing site YouTube to hit the 100 million views mark, after 2008′s ’7 Things’ and last year’s ‘Party In The U.S.A.’
She’s grown up right before our very eyes, and Miley Cyrus opens up how having her own show no the Disney channel changed and transformed her life. The “Party in the USA” singer sat down with J-14 magazine and opened up about always having her mom around, telling, “She was my assistant, make-up artist, hair stylist and wardrobe person, all at the same time.
