Miley Ray Cyrus is a 17 year old teen sensation, who was born on the 23rd November, 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her birth name is Destiny Hope, but in 2008 she legally changed her name to Miley after her dad had given her the nickname "Smiley." Miley is best known for her role in the popular Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana. In the series, she plays a girl called Miley Stewart who lives a double life as a popstar. Miley is also a singer/songwriter with many songs as herself and Hannah Montana topping the charts.

Teen queen Miley Cyrus is constantly spotted stepping out in Los Angeles sporting short shorts, or attending events in short dresses, and it looks as though her father Billy Ray Cyrus wants to put an end to her fashion choices. Miley’s father is concerned that Miley is showing too much skin and is trying to make her wear longer items of clothing. “Billy Ray told Miley that from now on, he only wants her to wear shorts that are eight inches above the knee or longer,” said a source, “He insists he’s serious about this.” At first Miley thought it was just a joke, but Billy Ray is strict with his decision. Miley is even said to have begged her mother Tish to speak to Billy Ray, with no luck. The source revealed that Billy Ray fears Miley is growing up too fast and needs to dress more like a teenager. Soon, Miley will be out of her parents’ house, as she moves into her very own Hollywood home in just a couple of months. |

After skipping out on the orange carpet arrivals, Miley Cyrus was spotted enjoying Nickelodeon’s 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 27). The “Hannah Montana” hottie mingled backstage in between taking in the ceremony alongside her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus.
Always up for a fun night, Miley Cyrus was spotted arriving at the annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 31). The “Party in the USA” gal looked gorgeous as she strutted down the red carpet before heading inside the venue for the night’s festivities. No stranger to award shows, Ms Cyrus is among the many other celebrities listed to present a Grammy.Other stars expected to hand out awards include the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, Josh Duhamel and Ricky Martin, just to name a few.
Teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus is under fire once more – this time over a tattoo she has been seen sporting on a beach in Florida. The tattoo, which sits just below the 17-year-old’s bustline, carries the words “just breathe“. It is illegal to get a tattoo in the US unless you are aged 18 or over. One fan’s blog is suggesting the ink-work is in memory of a nine-year-old girl called Vanessa who passed away from cystic fibrosis in 2007.
