Liam has also spoken about how the pair gradually became closer during shooting — on which Miley’s mother Tish was the executive producer –  because they were “each other’s only friend”.

“We spent a lot of time together,” he said. “We’re shooting together every day and together on weekends and we were kind of each other’s only friends down there. We just got really close… We enjoyed being around each other.”

While the pair got to act out their feelings for one another on screen, Liam was always cautious if they had any kissing scenes because Miley’s family were often on set.

“Her mom was watching,” he said. “Her grandma was also watching, which was really funny.
“She was on set everyday and she’d be right at the monitor with the headphones on… She should have been directing the film.

“She knew more about it than anyone. Intimacy’s always tough. I feel like it’s the hardest thing for me as an actor.”

“It’s such an odd thing for photographers to be following you around and taking photos of you while you eat and walk and shower.” Miley, 17, recently denied she and Liam are living together. “No,” Cyrus said when asked about the rumors Hemsworth had moved in with her. “How would anyone know who lives with me or not? “No one’s ever been in my house, no one’s ever like… no creepers who write in magazines have ever seen my house, ever talked to my parents, ever, like, spoken with my friends. “So they have nothing better to do than make up stories. I think they should take their ideas and put them somewhere useful.” source.

On Miley and Liam transitioning to film roles: We were kind of planning when the transition would take place; when I would leave the show behind and do something else. I’ve gone these last five years of doing ‘Hannah Montana’ with everybody telling me what to do. Now, it’s kind of up to me (to pick) what I think is right for my career. So, I’ve just been going in my own direction..

..and I have to be careful, in a sense, to not lose who I am and to lose the Miley Cyrus factor by going on to do other characters. I want them to know who I am but I want to extend my audience and just continue to do what I love but also give myself new challenges and not just be the same person over and over.

Does it help to work with a really hot guy in your first dramatic film? Yeah. (Talking) with Nicholas about the writing I said ‘I like animals, I like music, hot Australians’, that’s what I kind of made him write into the book so that was interesting. It was a good choice (Liam is cracking up). It worked out fine and I owe Nicholas bigtime! (laughter).

What aspect of your character Ronnie do you relate to the most? I was glad I got to have some part in (playing) music in the film. It wasn’t necessarily singing which is what everyone always wants to put me in. ‘Let’s give her a singing role’ and I didn’t necessarily want to do that. I didn’t want that to always be the thing that I lean on. But, I definitely relate to the music and working with animals was really cool, just things that were a little bit of me in the character but also different. But, I think that the music was probably the main thing I related to.

On Liam meeting Miley’s parents: My parents are, sorry mom, but like a little loco so if you love me and my family of five and my grandma lives with us and we have ten thousand dogs so if you love me after you meet my lifestyle, then you’re good. You’re a keeper.

How is life post-Twitter versus before? I’m a lot less on my phone. I’m a little bit more social. I have a lot more real friends than friends who are on the internet that I’m talking to which is not cool, not safe, not fun, and most likely not real. I just think everything is better when you’re not so wrapped up in that.

I think it’s kinda lame. I go hang out with my friends and they’re so busy taking pictures of what they’re doing to put on Facebook that they’re not really enjoying what they’re doing. You’re going to look back and have ten million pictures but you’re not in one of them because you weren’t having fun. You were too busy clicking away. So, I think just enjoy the moment you’re in and stop telling people about it. Just enjoy it for yourself.

You sound like somebody’s mom right now. ‘(laughs) Yes, I do. I’m telling kids, ‘don’t be on the internet. It’s dangerous. it’s not fun. It ruins your life and you should just be outside playing sports or something and not sitting in front of any type of screen (Liam is laughing a lot now).’

On her music: Right now I’m just finishing up my record. My record will be out towards the end of the summer and I’m really excited about that because I feel like after doing this film, it was kind of a test for me to decide what I really wanted to do. I love making movies and that’s what I want to pursue.

It’s not that I don’t love music. I love music. If every film could have a part (for me) with music I would (do it). But I feel like I need to get away from that for a little while and it’s another thing that is kind of my security blanket and I don’t always want to fall back on that.

I feel that the music industry is so contrived and so political right now, I people stepped away and said ‘we’re not gonna work like this. It’s more about our art than the politics, I feel like it would go back to be respected again. Right now, I feel like it’s lost a lot of respect and I’d rather be in an industry where I feel like I can be different and do things that really inspire me.

Miley Cyrus told KIIS FM Phoenix that she is ready for her ‘breakout moment’: ‘[I hope] for the first time people will take me seriously. [If not], I’m ready for the ups and downs. I’m so excited, no-one can take that away from me.

I may not be the best singer in the world, but I don’t lip-sync. I’m honest. I’m honest in acting, too, I’m going to choose roles I like. I’m doing what I like. People that are dogging me probably aren’t, which is why they’re down on me. I want to tell them, ‘Go get a hobby!”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s sexy new TEEN VOGUE photo shoot! Video under. How did you change after filming in Tybee? In LA, I had so many security blankets, people helping me with everything. I tried to book my friend a flight, and I didn’t know how because I was used to someone doing it for me. I didn’t want a babysitter anymore. I came to Tybee Island crying harder than I had ever cried in my life, and I left with the biggest smile on my face.

First impression of Liam? ‘He’s really tall. I thought, Either I’m going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow.. I think we’re both deeper than normal people, what they think and how they feel. He’s grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.’

Do you identify with any of the main characters from Sex And The City? ‘I know everyone says Carrie, but I love Kim Cattrall, so I’ll say Samantha. I want to be her because she’s the hottest, she’s funny, and she has attitude.’

“[She's a] young pop superstar who actually has the talent,” said the Poison frontman. “When you’re a star like that you’ve got to take the lumps that come with it and form nerves of steel. The girl can sit down and play the guitar, the piano and sing. She did a harmony on one of my songs, you know, that I did, ‘Nothing to Lose.’ And I think she’s going to break through. I see that realness in her as a musician.”

Mr. Trump also added his two cents about Miley.

“I don’t know Miley but I think she’s really got the It factor so much more so than almost anybody,” he said. “She is fantastic. I watched her on one of the talk shows and, I mean, she is like a 30-year-old woman.”

With that much praise, is it possible that he’d put the teen on “Celebrity Apprentice”? “I’d love to,” said Trump. “Wouldn’t that be nice?” “That would be insane. New Miley World blog: Hey guys! Just a quick update on everything thats been going on! Miley and our entire family have been so busy! With Hannah Montana filming, Miley is on set everyday! The new episodes are amazing! I’m not sure Miley has ever been busier!

She is filming HM, working on her Walmart clothing line, recording her new album, doing press for The Last Song and so much more. We go to NY soon to promote The Last Song and then to London in April to do International press for the movie. That will be so much fun!

It will be fun to be in London when its not so cold! The movie comes out on March 31st! Cant wait for you guys to see it! It is such an incredible movie. With Miley, Liam, Greg Kinear, and written my Nicholas Sparks, you cant go wrong!

That is the current state of celebrity, as teens such as Selena Gomez, Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart, and Miley Cyrus are under twenty and absolutely tearing it up.

The days when teens ran home from high school to watch Carson Daly interview their favorite celebs on MTV’S TRL are long over. But young Hollywood is bigger than ever in 2010, and these ladies are certainly making a name for themselves.

Britney and Christina were able to pass the teen queen torches to Disney stars Cyrus and Gomez, as these two are following in their footsteps as multi-dimensional superstars. Adorable 17-year-old Selena Gomez of the wildly popular “Wizards of Waverly Place” is charming in just about every little thing she does, and most would agree she doesn’t have that child star tragedy looming in her shadows. It’s highly unlikely that the “Selena Gomez: True Hollywood Story” will end in a tale about the time she robbed a liquor store in the Hollywood hills.

Cyrus on the other hand has created a great deal of controversy for herself in her short time in the spotlight. From her revealing MySpace photos to her risqué pole dancing performance at The Teen Choice Awards, millions of fans are praying that these acts aren’t a prelude to a Britney-like breakdown. Most hope that these so-called controversies can be chalked up to youth and experimenting with her celebrity. With her hit show “Hannah Montana” ending, it will be interesting to see if she is able to expand her young fan base to a more mature crowd.
